Tuition Fee Grants

KAI Japanese Language School has established a system of tuition fee grants in order to support the studies of pre-college students.

KAI Japanese Language School Tuition Fee Grant


KAI scholarship students, winter 2010.

Per Term: 3~4 students
Conditions: All of the following four conditions must be met.
. Applicants must be a pre-college student.
. Applicants must have an attendance rate of at least 90% over the past six months
. The applicant's financial circumstances must be such that a grant is required
. The applicant must be recommended by their instructor
Selection process: Interview and short essay
Grant: ¥50,000 per term
* There are also other scholarships and tuition fee grant systems which students can apply for by being recommended by the school

Scholarships Back Number 2009

Scholarships for Students Enrolled at Japanese Language Institutes (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)

Application period: April - May
For students with an attendance rate of 90% or above (from enrollment) who intend to
continue their studies at university, graduate school or vocational college.
¥48,000 per month x 12 months (* the amount of the grant has changed.)

Specified Non Profit Organization LSH ASIA Syogakukai (LEE SU-HYON Scholarship)

Application period: April - July
Pre-college students from Asia
Grant of ¥100,000
