Course Information
Introduction
We at KAI have analyzed foreigner's Japanese language lives. We are researching and developing a program which will enable foreigners to cope with the various problems encountered in Japan and which will allow foreigners to acquire communication skills to solve problems by themselves, without losing their own original identity.
In particular, we believe first and foremost that being able to maintain high levels of motivation is an extremely important factor in order to raise the effects of student's study. We incorporate into our program planning and use in our class management psychological theories and techniques such as cross cultural understanding, exchange analysis, coaching, and communication skills etc.
KAI offers 4 curriculums to meet the level and needs of our students
At KAI we offer 4 courses to meet the level and needs of our students. During the 'Japanese language course analysis' we select the course which is most suited to you. This assessment is especially recommended for those who are unsure which course will suit them.
Course Outline
General Japanese Language Course
In addition to the established 8 step detailed levels, we have created a flexible curriculum which considers the diversity of students' needs and objectives and a training program which connects 'words', 'thoughts' and 'feelings'. The content of this course is highly focused to produce strong results even within a short period of time and is suitable for people who seriously want to learn Japanese.
Open Monthly Course
The open monthly course is a 3 to 4 week course designed for beginners which we have developed to suit the needs of those who 'want to start learning immediately', 'want to have reached a certain level of proficiency at Japanese before starting work' or who 'want to study intensively for a short period of time'.
Private Lessons (at KAI or dispatch)
In order to meet your needs we offer flexibility in terms of the individual's course content, learning pace, textbooks, time and location. Course curriculums are deviated from and adjusted as needed in line with class progress, the student's requests and their proficiency.
Summer Intensive Course
A short intensive course which takes place over three weeks during the summer. We offer three courses for students to study in line with their goals: a 'Special Conversation Course', a 'Preparatory Course for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test', and a 'Japanese Business Communication Course'.
We also offer a number of optional Japanese culture experience events such as pottery and zen meditation activities.
